מצעד הגאווה בירושלים - 2004
גם השנה נצעד במצעד הגאווה בירושלים כדי להזכיר לחוגגות ולחוגגים שבזמן שהן צוהלות את החופש שלהן, במרחק כחצי שעת נסיעה מבכות אחרות את כליאתן בתוך חומות, את גירושן ממקורות מחייתן ואת ההתאכזרות וההרג המתמשכים בעוד הצבא הישראלי ממשיך בעוז את מדיניות הכיבוש של הממשלה.
ברצוננו להזכיר למשתתפות המצעד שכל עוד אחת לא חופשיה, אף אחת איננה חופשיה, ושחובתן המוסרית להיאבק גם למען קבוצות אחרות שנאנקות תחת עול ההומופוביה, הסקסיזם, הלאומנות, המיליטריזם ושאר מנגנוני הדיכוי החברתיים. בעיקר לאחר הזוועות שראינו ברפיח, עלינו להיאבק ביתר תוקף נגד המשך הכיבוש בפלסטין.
נשמח אם תצטרפו אלינו, ניפגש מחר - יום חמישי, 3.6, בשעה 18:15 במעלה המדרחוב בירושלים (המדרחוב בפינת רחוב ההסתדרות). תזהו אותנו לפי בגדינו השחורים וגופינו הסקסיים. אנא בואו בשחור. השמועה אומרת שיהיה קריר למדי, לכן הביאו בגד חם שחור ללבוש על החולצה/גופיה/חזייה השחורה שלכןם.

We will be marching again this year at the Jerusalem pride parade, to remind those celebrating that while they are dancing their freedom, about half an hour's drive away others are weeping their entrapment within walls, their deportation from their sources of living, and the destruction and killing that continue while the Israeli army continues to carry out the government's occupation policy.
We would like to remind those marching in the parade that so long as one is not free, no one is really free, and that it is their moral obligation to struggle for other groups suffering under the yoke of homophobia, sexism, nationalism, militarism, and other social structures of oppression. Even more so after witnessing the atrocities in Rafah, we must struggle even more against the continuation of the occupation in Palestine.
We would be happy if you'd join us. We're meeting tomorrow - Thursday, June 3rd, at 18:15 at the top of the Midrechov in Jerusalem (corner of Ha'Histadrut St.). You can recognize us by our black clothes and sexy bodies. Please come in black. Rumor has it that it's going to be quite chilly in Jerusalem at night, so bring a warm black garment to wear over your black shirt/tank top/bra.

It ain't just bizarre, it relates to the pashkevil (ultra-orthodox leaflets) distributed by homophobic right wing activists around Jerusalem in the past few days. The original homophobic right wing flyer (which might convince you of how important it is to come and march in Jerusalem) is also attached.
